Matchark is deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II. We send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family, the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
After a week of matches postponed following the Queen's passing, matches of the English Football League are resumed. In tribute to the Queen, the national anthem is played before matches, a minute's silence before kick-off with players wearing black armbands.

UEFA's Grassroots Conference Held in Madrid (13.09.2022)
The first in-person grassroots conference after the COVID-19 pandemic was held for four days in Madrid from 12th to 16th September, 2022. The conference was an event where different grassroots communities could gather and discuss about the game in general. The development of grassroots clubs and enhancing the playing environment for players were two particular areas of focus.

University of Essex & Birmingham City University have joined partnership with England Football Learning (05.09.2022)
Previously, English Football Learning has been running eight Women’s High Performance Football Centres [WHPFC] in universities within England (List provided below). The FA aims to recruit, develop, and deploy quality coaches in women’s football through providing educational and community based setting in the partnered universities. In addition, the centres allow players to benefit from coaching, sports science, sports medicine, and scholarship opportunities from the environment that the centres create.
